journaling: for almost two months now, i’ve been attempting to achieve the perfect curl. it’s true what they say - you always want what you can’t have. my hair is neither straight nor curly. to make it straight, i have to straighten it and to get curls, i never knew quite what to do. but after much practice, and experimenting, i’ve found the way to achieve curls for my curl-challenged hair. it’s just one more
little dream, come true.
ever since i edited these pictures of the olson family, i've been coveting shauna's curls. so i told her she had to tell me **in detail** her process - which she did. which i then did and continued to practice for the last two months, desperate for the perfect curl. (shauna - i know you're wishing i would put as many hours into some new Vanilla Bean Art - it's coming, i promise. and it will be ready for our first ever craft show at the end of the month - i promise.) thank you for helping me find my inner curl.

i'm so jealous... i LOVE all of her paislee press stuff! that day was an exceptionally good curl day... they have been less than covetable since then.
