Last minute zoo trip today - just the three of us and our lunch box. A sweet time with my two beaks eating lunch on the bench in front of the chimps, naming the tiger "nala," the obligatory visit to the komodo dragon, and having Kate correct the elementary kids on a field trip that the "alligator" they were referring to was, in fact, a crocodile.  Oh yeah, of course we had the occassional stubborn sit and pout - it wouldn't be a proper trip without it!
